Eve Washburn, a freshman at Burroughs Ridgecrest High in California, won the Division 3-4-5 girls varsity blue race at the 74th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Washburn covered the 2.93-mile course in 19:01 to help Burroughs Ridgecrest place second by a 55-106 margin behind West Torrance.
